Hi, I'm Yardley. Jesus-girl, author, Work Wellness Coach, and Organizational Psychology grad student—with a late-diagnosed neurodivergent brain. Throughout almost two decades as a working professional, I tried so much to fit into molds at work that weren’t meant for me to fit into.
With not quite fitting in, comes being misunderstood, and thus rejection in various ways—whether real, perceived or having the fear of rejection. I would find myself wondering what co-workers and leaders thought about me, felt insecure about saying the wrong things while trying so hard to sound eloquent. I didn’t honor how I was uniquely designed—ultimately rejecting myself. After wondering why I functioned differently for so long, I found great strategies that actually work!
But what’s even more important is using the Bible to help navigate our thoughts as we tackle rejection in the hurdles of work.
I’m super excited to share how using His Word and understanding how your brain was uniquely designed can help you navigate work grounded in godly security.
